the only problem is that it uses 220 and 221 ink where mine was using CLI8 and PGI5. Question 2: i looked at MP620 and it is about the same thing, later model. Question 1: does anyone have any idea of what i can check? I can't even guess what the problem is as there is no message except error coder 6A00. One thing i should mention is that i just replaced the PGI5 cartridge. I don't see paying that much for repairs when a new one is a few $$ more. i have a canon mp610 printer and replaced a black ink cartridge and now printer is saying the type of print head is incorrect install the correct print head. That is $35 to take a look and then at least $30 more for repairs. the printer is still blinking the lights and I am told i have to take it in for repairs. i called Canon Tech support and they helped me reset the printer. SoвЂ¦does that mean the only thing I need to replace to get this thing to start working again is a new printhead? Or do I have to buy some other part?
